Section 6 Special Occupancy Provisions
{Section is reserved in most occupancy chapters. Used for special occupancies.
Previously Ambulatory Health Care was in Section 6 of the Health Care Chapters and Day Care was Section 6 of the Educational Chapters. It is used by Day Care for Day Care homes, and by Industrial and Storage for special industrial and storage occupancies such as aircraft repair and storage and parking garages}

Section 7 Operating Features
Includes such materials as fire exit drills, planning, maintenance, upholstered furniture and mattresses, smoking regulations, and construction and repairs if regulated.

Most Occupancy chapters follow this outline. Some occupancies, such as board and care, modify it. In that case the chapter will still follow the same organization but the numbering can be affected.
