Kitchen Protection (NFPA 96):

Commercial kitchens must be protected in accordance with NFPA 96 (Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations).

Electrical Rooms (NFPA 13):

Sprinklers are not required in electrical equipment rooms where all of the following conditions are met (NFPA 13, 8.15.10.3):
