Corridor Doors

Notes:
As per NFPA-101-7.1.3.1 – if ‘exit’ corridor will serve >30 occupants, the walls must be 1-hour fire rated and doors to be 45-minutes fire rated. Though this requirement shall not apply where otherwise provided in table below.
Doors are required to be of side-hinged or pivoted-swinging type shall swing in the direction of egress travel where serving a room or area with an occupant load of 50 or more. Door also shall swing in the direction of egress travel when (1) it is used in an exit enclosure. (2) it serves a high hazard contents.
